Frequently Asked Questions

What should I expect in our first session?

The first session is all about getting to know each other. I’ll ask some questions to better understand what brings you in, what’s been challenging, and what you hope to get out of therapy. You’re welcome to share as much or as little as you’d like there’s no pressure to dive deep right away. My goal is to create a space that feels safe, supportive, and collaborative from the very beginning.

Do you work with neurodivergent clients (ADHD, Autism, etc.)?

Yes. As a neurodivergent clinician myself, I bring both lived experience and clinical training to support ADHDers, Autistic individuals, and others who identify as neurodivergent. Sessions are unmasking-friendly, paced with your needs in mind, and centered on validation not pathologizing.

Do you offer parent support?

Absolutely. I offer therapy for parents including those raising neurodivergent children who may be experiencing burnout, decision fatigue, or feeling unsure about how to best support their kids. As a parent myself with a child who has ADHD, I understand how complex this journey can be and aim to provide practical, compassionate guidance.

What modalities do you use in therapy?

I integrate several trauma-informed and evidence-based modalities, including:

  • Neurodivergent Informed Care

  • DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy)

  • IFS (Internal Family Systems)

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

  • CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy)

  • CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)

We’ll choose what fits best for your goals and preferences.

Do you accept insurance?

At this time, I do not accept insurance, but I can provide superbills for clients who wish to request reimbursement through their out-of-network benefits. I do come up as a preferred provider for Medicare and Medicaid (Apple Health), however, this is under the community mental health clinic I am still employed with and WILL NOT bill services or provide superbills for Medicare or Medicaid (Apple Health).
